Thank you to all who were able to join our college spotlight this past Saturday! It was amazing opportunity to learn more about a few universities in the state of North Carolina that have unique opportunities surrounding research, medicine, and liberal-arts education. We featured the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University this month. Both colleges have unique opportunities for students who are interested in pursuing a career in healthcare, business, and law. Both schools have medical schools and law schools onsite, providing an upper-hand for students who are fortunate enough to be admitted to complete their undergraduate coursework at the two universities.
The highlight of our event came from the real experiences of college ambassadors whi are current students at UNC Chapel Hill. Ambassadors shed light on their fondest experiences of campus life and engagement, while also diving into their resilience as African Americans at a predominantly white institution.
